MEET KIRA

Kira Yampolskiy is the founder and principal designer of Sunset Interieurs. Just as a magnificent sunset can uplift and renew your spirit, Kira believes in creating beautifully modern yet accessible spaces that make you feel happier and rejuvenated in your own home. Raised in the former USSR, Kira’s parents — a contractor father and an educator mother with a passion for constant apartment renovation — lit the first spark of design inspiration. Today, Kira is an avid traveler, art collector, and fitness enthusiast, always in search of that “perfect” piece.

Prior to launching Sunset Interieurs, she led operations teams across the world as a successful executive. Knowing what it takes to deliver a top-notch customer experience and results are just some of the specialized talents she brings to the firm. Kira also holds degrees in math and business, giving her the uncommon ability to switch seamlessly from right brain to left brain — and back again.

Kira is currently working toward interior design certification at the New York School of Interior Design and has expanded her portfolio to include residences in New York City, Cape Cod, and Connecticut. She lives in Greenwich, CT, with her husband, Alex; son, Benjamin; and daughter, Maya.
